Make Myximus your default search

Private search by default — no tracking, no account, no data sold. Set it once and every search from your address bar stays private.

🧭 Safari

  1. Safari only lets you pick its default from a fixed list (Google, Yahoo, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia), so it can't be set to Myximus directly.
  2. Best option: install a browser extension such as a "search redirect" extension and point it at https://search.myximus.com/?q=%s.
  3. Or bookmark search.myximus.com and use it as your search start page.
We'd rather tell you the truth than pretend: Safari's default-search list is locked down by Apple. Until that changes, an extension or bookmark is the honest workaround.
